Inspired by Neural-Fretboard. An interactive Three.js instrument with original riffs, synchronized tablature, and 144 locally hosted guitar recordings through a small amp and room effect.
Sustain, hammer-on, staccato and release samples: Gretsch Anniversary recorded by Brian Wood, from Karoryfer Black And Green Guitars (CC0). Two velocity layers and alternating takes. Palm mute uses damped staccato recordings; pull-off, slide, bend, vibrato and harmonics are modeled from recordings, not separately recorded transitions. Headphones work best.
Hungarian Dance No. 5 by Johannes Brahms: public-domain composition. This practice arrangement follows the full melody and written repeats, with simplified bass and a fixed tempo; piano chords, grace notes and tempo directions are simplified. Score and arrangement notes.
Also included: Mozart’s Rondo alla Turca (Turkish March), with written repeats and pickup measures; Paganini’s Caprice No. 24, theme and 10 variations. Paganini transcription by Samuel Rummel / Mutopia Project, 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0. The guitar reduction shares that license; variation V is absent from the source MIDI. Polyphonic chords are reduced to their top melody; tempo is fixed for practice. Sources and changes.
The theory library contains original practice material organized by rhythm, scales and modes, pentatonic vocabulary, intervals, harmony, repertoire and guitar technique. Five clearly labeled study transcriptions—Exercises 7.14, 8.4, 8.5, 9.42 and 9.43—were entered from the user-provided copy of Davide Celletti’s The Lead Guitar Bible, second edition (2024). Only playable note and technique data is included; the book PDF, page images and prose are not distributed.
